About NEET 2021
NEET 2021 Cutoff : The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which is now known as the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.
- Mode of Examination: NEET (UG) – 2021 is a Pen & Paper-based Test, to be answered on the specially designed machine gradable OMR sheet using Ball Point Pen.
- Duration of Test: The duration of the test would be three (03) hours.
NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [ NEET (UG) – 2021] will be held by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, September 12th, 2021 (Sunday) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other. The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2021 would be conducted are : English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Following the NTA NEET exam, the official answer key containing the solutions to the NEET questions will be provided. For all codes, the NEET 2021 answer key will be released. The NEET results will be published as a scorecard. Along with the results, the minimum qualifying percentage and scores for the NEET 2021 exam will be revealed, which must be met in order to pass the exam. Admission to 15 percent AIQ, 85 percent state quota, deemed/central universities, private institutions, AFMS/ESIC institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER campuses is based on NEET scores.
NEET 2021 Cutoff
With the official booklet, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET cutoff percentile. The cutoff scores for NEET 2021 will be announced along with the results at neet.nta.nic.in. NEET 2021 predicted cutoff has been revealed by coaching institutes such as Career Point. According to experts, this year’s NEET cutoff will be slightly lower than last year’s. The NEET cutoff is the minimum score required to pass the NEET entrance exam. The 50th percentile is the cutoff for general category candidates in NEET UG 2021. NEET qualifying percentiles for SC/ST/OBC and general-PH aspirants are 40th and 45th percentiles, respectively. NEET cutoff scores for the general category were 720-147 last year, while SC/ST/OBC cutoff scores were 146-113.
NTA, in consultation with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Dental Council of India (DCI), may decrease the NEET cutoff if vacant seats remain. On the basis of the NEET cutoff marks, the NTA will create the NEET merit list 2021. Admission to 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ), 85 percent state quota, deemed/central university, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER colleges will be done based on the NEET 2021 cut off. The Medial Counselling Committee will conduct NEET counselling for students with a 15 percent AIQ, deemed/central universities, AFMS/ESIC, AIIMS, and JIPMER (MCC). Various state counselling authorities will conduct admission processes for 85 percent state quota seats based on the NEET 2021 cutoff.

NEET 2021 Cutoff- category wised expected Cutoff
Various top coaching institutes, such as Aakash and Career Point, will provide projected NEET cutoff marks in percentile format. Aspirants can get an estimate of the rank they’ll get by comparing NEET marks to rank using the projected NEET cutoff 2021. NEET 2021 expected cut off by - Career Point
Shailendra Maheshwari, Academic Director of Career Point coaching centre, declared the NEET predicted cutoff after the exam was completed. According to Career Point’s NEET 2021 predicted cutoff, the exam was moderate to difficult, hence the NEET-UG cutoff for the General category will be around 715-145. Take a look at the table below.

NEET Result 2021
At neet.nta.nic.in, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the NEET result in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can access the NTA NEET 2021 result on the official website. Aspirants must input their NEET roll number, date of birth, and security pin to get the NEET 2021 result. The name, date of birth, application number, total as well as subject-wise marks acquired, and NEET All India Rank are all listed on the NEET 2021 result-cum-scorecard (AIR). In addition, the result will provide the NEET cutoff for 2021 as well as the qualifying status.
NEET Counselling 2021
The exam conducting authorities will compile a NEET merit list 2021 based on AIR, which will include the names of applicants who passed the exam in order of rank. On behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the merit list will be given to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for NEET 2021 counselling for 15% AIQ, seats at deemed/central universities, ESIC, AFMS, and central pool seats.
While the remaining 85 percent of state quota seats in government colleges will be distributed by state counselling agencies based on NEET 2021 exam scores and rank. NEET state-wise merit list 2021 will be released based on the cutoff scores by the relevant state counselling boards. The state counselling council will also be in charge of providing admission to private medical and dental universities in that state.
