JEXPO 2021 – The deadline to submit an application for JEXPO 2021 has been extended until July 31. On the official website, the JEXPO 2021 application form was made available in an online format. Before the deadline, candidates must complete the JEXPO application form. Before filling out the application form for JEXPO 2021, applicants should make sure they meet the eligibility requirements. The JEXPO 2021 test will take place either offline or online. The exam will last two hours and will consist of 100 questions, 25 from each of the subjects of physics and chemistry, and 50 from mathematics. A total of 19,000 seats, excluding management quota seats, will be available through the JEXPO 2021 exam.

The West Bengal State Council of Technical Vocational Education and Skill Development organises JEXPO for admission to various diploma programmes offered by West Bengal polytechnic institutes, including engineering and technology. Admission will be available to those who qualify for JEXPO 2021. Seats will be allocated through online counselling.

JEXPO 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Before beginning to study for the exam, candidates should review the JEXPO 2021 eligibility requirements. Because even if they pass the exam, they will not be considered for admission if they do not match the stipulated eligibility standards.

As a result, the candidate will have wasted valuable time and effort. Nationality, qualifying exam, minimum marks, subject combination, and age limit are some of the major eligibility conditions that the candidate must meet. JEXPO 2021 Eligibility Criteria are given below-

  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
  • They must be having domicile of West Bengal state.
  • Students who have passed class 10 from a recognized board in the state can apply.
  • They must secure at least 35 marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates appearing in class 10 and whose results are awaited can also apply.
  • There is no age limit prescribed for this exam.

 

JEXPO 2021 Exam Pattern

It is not enough to just finish one’s schoolwork in order to receive a decent grade; the diploma exam is a whole different ballgame. Unlike board exams, which are subjective in nature, the entrance exam will consist of objective questions.

In addition, there are certain differences between the two in terms of subjects. It is therefore advised that the candidate spend some time to review the JEXPO 2021 syllabus before beginning their exam preparation.

JEXPO 2021 Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be conducted in either offline (pen-paper-based) mode or online mode.
  • Answers have to be entered on OMR answer sheets by darkening circles using black/blue ball-point pen.
  • The duration of the paper will be 2 hours.
  • Question type will be multiple choice.
  • The paper will be of 100 marks.

Registration Process

Step 1-VISIT: 
Visit the official website of JEXPO.
Click on the “Online Application for JEXPO 2021” tab. 
Step 2-REGISTER:
Click on “New Candidate Registration.”
Register yourself by filling in some basic details such as name, contact number, email id, etc.
Click on “Register
A confirmation mail will be sent to your registered email id and mobile number.
Step 3-ENTER DETAILS:
Enter all the personal details such as name, gender, date of birth, gender, e-mail ID, etc. 
Enter the address details as applicable.
Candidates should fill in all the details properly to avoid mistakes.
Click “Save and Submit.”
Step 4-ENTER ACADEMIC DETAILS:
Enter the educational qualification details correctly.
Fill in all the details very carefully.
Click “Save.”
Step 5-UPLOAD DOCUMENTS:

Upload the scanned image of photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format.
Step 6-FEE PAYMENT:
The candidates have to pay the fees as soon as the application form is complete.
The fee once given is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Step 7-PRINT:

The last step is to take the printout of the receipt of the payment made to confirm the submission of the application form for future use.

It is advised to save your registration number as it will be useful later.
JEXPO OFFLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS
Step 1-COLLECT:
Candidates applying by offline mode have to collect the application form from polytechnic institutions affiliated with WBSCTE.
Step 2-PAY THE FEES:
The candidates will have to pay for the application form as the application fee.
Step 3-SUBMIT: 
Please fill-up the form carefully, attach the required documents, and submit it there itself.

JEXPO 2021 Admit Card

JEXPO 2021 – The admit card will be available one or two weeks before the exam date. The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) will issue the admission card on its official website. Only those candidates who submit their application form along with payment of fees before the deadline will be issued an admit card. Applicants must use their login credentials to download the admission card from the official website. In order to take the exam, applicants must carry their admission card with them. JEXPO 2021 Result

After the submission of qualifying marks, the JEXPO 2021 Result/ Merit List will be issued in the fourth week of July 2021. A state-level polytechnic entrance exam is known as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO). The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education is in charge of organising this test (WBSCTE). Through this exam, candidates will be admitted to various Diploma Programs offered by various Polytechnic Institutions.

JEXPO 2021 Cut off

Only after the outcome has been announced is the JEXPO cutoff established. Candidates who meet the qualifying cutoff marks are assigned to various branches based on their ranking merits. Candidates are also given advice based on their cut-off scores. After the results are published, the JEXPO cutoff for 2020 will be notified. To get admitted to various government, government-sponsored, and private polytechnic institutes in West Bengal for diploma courses, candidates must pass the Joint Entrance Examination-Polytechnic. Students are shortlisted for further processing based on their cutoff scores. The JEXPO exam allows students who want to pursue a career in engineering to do so.
