JEE Advanced 2021 – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the country, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has postponed the JEE Advanced 2021 exam. The revised JEE Advanced test date for 2021 will be announced soon. Students have requested that the eligibility for JEE Advanced 2021 be the same as last year. i.e. the JEE Advanced eligibility condition of 75 percent in class 12 has been reduced. JEE Advanced 2021 is only open to students who have qualified for JEE Main 2021 and are among the top 250000 candidates in order of merit.

IIT Kharagpur will release the JEE Advanced 2021 application form in an online format. The JEE Advanced 2021 exam has two obligatory papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, which are based on the JEE Advanced 2021 syllabus. JEE Advanced 2021 will be administered in two shifts. The authorities will provide the JEE Advanced answer key 2021 and response sheet on the official website when the exam is over. The JEE Advanced 2021 exam results will be released in an online format. The JEE Advanced 2021 analysis will be provided to candidates for both exam 1 and paper 2.

For architecture admission to IITs, the JEE Advanced Architecture Test 2021 will be held. Only the official website will be used to announce the JEE Advanced AAT 2021 result. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority, often known as JoSAA, conducts counselling for admission to IITs. According to IIT Delhi’s JEE Advanced data from the previous year, 1,50,838 applicants applied for both papers 1 and 2, with 43,204 qualifying for the exam (6707 female candidates).

What is JEE Advanced exam?

JEE Advanced 2021 is the exam for admissions to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the 23  IITs of the country. . JEE Advanced exam is jointly organized by the seven Zonal Coordinating IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee. IIT, Kharagpur is acting as the conducting institute for JEE Advanced 2021.

JEE Advanced 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The JEE Advanced eligibility criteria are the requirements that all candidates must meet in order to be considered for the exam and admission procedure. The requirement of a minimum of 75% in class XII Board exams or a ranking in the top 20% in class 12 exams has been removed. Candidates who are determined to be ineligible for admission shall be disqualified. The following are the eligibility requirements for JEE Advanced 2021:

  • Age: Candidates in the general category must have been born on or after October 1, 1996. Candidates from the SC/ST/PWD categories are given a 5-year age relaxation.
  • Qualifying Examination – JEE Advanced is open to students who passed their class 12 test in 2020 or who are scheduled to take it in 2021.
  • JEE Main: Candidates must have passed the JEE Main exam and rank among the top 2,50,000 candidates in the order of merit. The aspirants must also meet the cutoff for admission to IITs.
  • Number of Attempts : Candidates for JEE Advanced will be permitted to take the exam twice in two years.

JEE Advance Application Process

Registration for JEE Advanced 2021 is planned to begin in July 2021. On a rotating basis, the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will host the JEE Advanced test. The JEE Advanced test will be held in IIT Kharagpur in 2021. It is a national level test that is used to provide admission to several UG and integrated UG courses in engineering, architecture, and other fields. The application fee for candidates who opt centre in India is Rs.1400 for SC, ST, PwD and all female candidates and Rs.2800 for all other candidates.

 

Visit Official Website and Login:
  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced.
  • The login window will appear on the screen.
  • Enter the JEE Main 2021 Roll Number, Password and Security Pin and submit it.
  • Choose the new password for JEE Advanced.
Fill Details:
  • After creating the new password, a new page will be displayed containing candidate’s details furnished at the time of JEE Main registration.
  • Mention the number of attempts.
  • Choose the three examination cities as per their preferences.
  • Select the language of the question paper (English or Hindi).
  • Fill the category and scribe status.
  • Check all the filled details carefully and submit it.

Students are needed to keep ready the required documents in the prescribed specification. The image should be in JPEG format. The image size should be between 50 KB to 300 KB. The documents required for registration are mentioned below:

JEE Advanced 2021 Syllabus

The JEE Advanced 2021 syllabus has been published on the official website of IIT Kharagpur. The JEE Advanced 2021 syllabus is available in pdf format for all three courses, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.

  • Physics: General, Thermal Physics, Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Modern Physics
  • Chemistry: Organic and inorganic chemistry, Physical chemistry
  • Mathematics: Analytical geometry, algebra, trigonometry, integral calculus, differential calculus, vectors
  • Architecture aptitude: Geometrical drawing, freehand drawing, architectural awareness, imagination and aesthetic sensitivity, three-dimensional perception.

JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Pattern

JEE Advanced 2021 will have two examinations, Paper 1 and Paper 2, with English and Hindi as language options.

  • The JEE Advanced 2021 exam will be computer-based.
  • Each paper will have a three-hour time limit for candidates to complete.

JEE Advanced 2021 Admit Card

The JEE Advanced 2021 admit card will be available online. The JEE Advanced 2021 admit card will be available only to registered applicants. It is a crucial document that must be shown at the exam centre. The candidate will be disqualified from taking the exam if he or she is unable to provide the admission card.

The JEE Advanced 2021 admit card will provide information regarding the examination centre and timings. Candidates must also bring a valid picture identity evidence in addition to the admission card. The ways to get your JEE Advanced admit card for 2021 are as follows:

  • Candidates are required to log in to the official portal using their application number and password. Upon logging in, candidates will be able to download the admit card.

JEE Advanced Expected Cut-off 2021

The cutoff for JEE Advanced 2021 will act as a factor for entry in the rank list and admission to IITs. There are two elements to the cutoff: the qualifying cutoff and the admission cutoff. The JEE Advanced 2021 qualifying cutoff is the minimum score that applicants must get in order to be placed in the rank list.

Counselling Process for JEE Advanced 2021

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is in charge of JEE Advanced qualified students’ admissions. Candidates must register and choose from a variety of colleges and courses. Candidates are assigned seats at participating IITs based on their secured ranks, preferences, and seat availability. The official website has published the JoSAA 2021 seat allocation for rounds one, two, and three.
