About WBJEE 2022
WBJEE 2022 : West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has announced the WBJEE 2022 Examination Date. Authorities are conducting the WBJEE 2022 will be held on April 23. The online application form for WBJEE 2022 will be posted on the official website on December 21st. The link to the WBJEE 2022 form will be active on the official website wbjeeb.in. Before applying for the WBJEE 2022 exam, students must review the admission criteria.
WBJEE stands for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. Every year, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts an offline state-level exam. WBJEE 2022 is required for candidates seeking admission to West Bengal government and private engineering and pharmacy programmes. Eligible applicants must apply for the exam by filling out the WBJEE 2022 application form, which will be made available online by WBJEEB. WBJEE 2022 will be a once-a-year, 2.5 hr offline entrance examination. The WBJEE exam paper will contain a total of 155 questions worth a total of 200 points. WBJEE 2022 eligibility criteria
Citizenship: The applicant must an Indian Citizen
Age Limits:
- There is no upper age limit for the admission to all the courses (except for the marine engineering course)
- The applicant must be at least 17 years old on 31st December 2022. In other words the applicant must be born on or before the 31st December 2005.
- For Degree level Marine Engineering course, the age of an applicant must be between 17 to 25 years as on 31st December 2022.
Academic Qualification
For Admission to Engineering Courses:
- Candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination i.e., the ’10+2′ examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application/Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable)
- Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category e.g., SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD) in the above three subjects taken together.
- Must have passed English in the ’10+2′ examination with at least 30% marks.
- Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
For Admission to Pharmacy Courses:
- The applicant must have passed the 10+2 exam with passing grades in Chemistry, Physics, and one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Application, and Computer Science.
- The minimum aggregate marks necessary in the three subjects stated above will be 45 percent (40 percent for the candidates from SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD category)
- A minimum of 30% in the English subject at the 10+2 level is required.
- Should have passed a qualifying examination administered by a state or national government-approved board.

WBJEE 2022 Application Fee :- The examination application fee is Rs 500 (Rupees 500 only) for general applicants and Rs 400 (Rupees 400 only) for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, plus any applicable bank service charges.
- SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/TFW candidates who qualify for the concession must upload their certificates in the appropriate forms at the time of counselling, or their candidature will be cancelled.

- Candidates must review and submit the application form after paying the application cost. Candidates are urged to print the confirmation page after submitting the form and keep it safe for future reference. E-counselling relies on the confirmation page as well. As a result, candidates must keep their documents safe until their admissions are confirmed.

WBJEE 2022 Exam Pattern
In order to succeed in WBJEE 2022, you’ll have to know about the exam pattern, topic weight, and marking method. Candidates may see the WBJEE 2022 exam pattern here to learn more about the exam. WBJEE 2022 will be held offline and will contain multiple questions. WBJEE 2022 will have two papers: Paper 1 (Mathematics/Biology) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry combine).
In Paper 1, candidates seeking admission to the Pharmacy programme were required to take Biology instead of Mathematics. In order to be considered for admission, students must pass both papers. Each paper, Paper 1 and Paper 2, will have a time limit of 120 minutes. In both paper 1 and 2, there are three types of questions, as mentioned below.
